Pears and ginger are a perfect combination in this fall dessert. The phyllo cups take a little effort to make, but they can be done in advance. Top off the crispy phyllo and spiced pears with a tangy whipped cream for an impressive and low-stress dinner-party dessert.
Special equipment: You will need a pastry brush for this recipe.
Game plan: If you don’t have a 12-well muffin pan, you can use two 6-well muffin pans; just be sure to bake them side by side in the oven.
