Ginger Ale Apple-Lemon Slushy

My 13 yr old son was inspired by a recipe in his blender cookbook. He has a fetish with HIS blender. Not having many of the ingredients on hand, he improvised like a pro. He wanted so bad to make something for dessert. This turned out great.
This was a refreshingly tart drink. It tasted great after dinner. After looking at the original recipe in his book, I believe his would be much better. This drink makes a great summer beverage. Heck, this tastes great anytime. I’m thinking it could almost be a breakfast drink if it weren’t for the soda.

Instructions

  1. 1Mix everything but the ginger ale in your blender on the lowest setting for about 45 seconds. It will froth up slightly. After it is mixed, thoroughly chill by placing it in the fridge for an hour or two.
  2. 2When it’s time to serve, fill a glass half way with your apple mix. Then top off with ginger ale. Serve with a straw.
