i drink my milkshake. i drink it up.

We had unusually warm weather this weekend and as a result came back from Safeway with a large box of ice cream sandwiches. It became obvious after consuming a few that they could be better utilized.

*This recipe is based on Lucerne ice cream sandwiches (3.65 oz/each).

Instructions

  1. 1Allow 10 sandwiches to sit at room temp for 6 minutes.
  2. 2Coat bottom of blender with 1/3 C milk. Gently mash up 4 sandwiches and drop in.
  3. 3Blend.
  4. 4Repeat steps 2 & 3 two times (1/3 C milk and 3 sandwiches each time).
  5. 5Optional: use remaining 2 sandwiches to dip into milkshake.
