buffalo chicken corndog

I love corndogs so much we even named our dog “corndog,” which suits her because she is the shape of a corndog. I am always looking to combine and adapt recipes for our tailgating parties and this is what I have come up with…

Instructions

  1. 1Marinate your sausages with about half of the bottle of KC Masterpiece Buffalo for at least 30 minutes
  2. 2Preheat deep fryer to 375 degrees.
  3. 3Blend box of cornbread, buttermilk, flour, and blue cheese thoroughly. Pour into a drinking glass.
  4. 4Remove sausages, wipe off excess, and dip them in the cornbread mixture one at a time. Fry until done, about 4 minutes. Remove and drain on a paper towel. Roll the dogs in the remaining KC Masterpiece Buffalo sauce just before serving. Allow people to drizzle blue cheese or ranch over their dog and enjoy!
