Ingredients (14)

  • 1 1/2 cup brown rice
  • 3/4 cup wild rice
  • 3 double chicken boullion cubes (I use Knorr) or equivalent granules
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp coursely ground black pepper
  • 1 small can mushroom stems and pieces with liquid
  • 5 1/2 cups water
  • 1-2 cups small cubes cooked chicken
  • 2 diced carrots
  • (optional: up to 1 cup small peas)
  • 1 small sweet onion chopped
  • 1 tbs. dry parsley flakes
  • 1-1 1/2 tsp granulated garlic

Quick pressure cooker recipe for leftover chicken.

Instructions

  1. 1Combine all ingredients in electric pressure cooker.
  2. 2Stir.
  3. 3Seal Pressure cooker and set time for 20 minutes cook time (meat setting) with vent closed.
  4. 4Manually release steam after cooking time completed and serve.
