Blue Moon Mussels

Ingredients (9)

  • 2 Pounds Mussels
  • 1 Shallot
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Medium Tomato Diced
  • 4 Slices Thick Bacon
  • 1 Baguette
  • 1 Bottle Blue Moon
  • 1/2 Stick of Butter
  • 1 1/2 Chipotle Peppers

Came up with this recipe when I was craving Mussels. Decided to throw a few things together and it came out fantastic!


  1. 1Fry Bacon in Pan until Crisp. Dice Cooked Bacon. Begin toasting bread in bacon fat.
  2. 2Chop Shallots, Garlic, Tomato and Chipotle.
  3. 3Melt 1/4 stick of butter in Large Pan. Toss in Mussels, Bacon, Shallots, Garlic, Tomato and Chipotle. Stir and Cook for two minutes.
  4. 4Pour in Bottle of Blue Moon and another 1/4 stick of Butter. Cover and cook for 3 1/2 Minutes.
  5. 5Serve in a bowl with broth and toasted bread on the side.
