Beer Batter Onion Rings

I found this recipe in a magazine many years ago. I have never seen onion rings as good as these. They are crispy and stay that way much longer than regular onion rings.

Instructions

  1. 1Mix beer and flour in a bowl. Let stand on counter for 2 hours.
  1. 1Coat onion rings with batter.
  2. 2Fry in hot oil until brown and crispy.
  3. 3Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with salt and pepper. These may be placed in a warm oven until ready to serve. They will stay crispy.
