Ingredients (10)

  • 1 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 1tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 Chicken leg or wing, bone-in

This is a adaptation of a family recipe. Smoking is the method in this version but baking works well also.


  1. 1mince garlic glove well.
  2. 2Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix thoroughly.
  3. 3Smoke the chicken for one hour at 180 degrees F. Then take it out and cover in sauce.
  4. 4Continue coating the chicken every hour.
