Would you eat at Shaker for dinner? Or a different meal. Deciding on our first meal tonight.. was thinking Adana, Stateside, and now Shaker sounds great!

EatFood- thank you for your response.

Would you do Spinasse or Altura?

I was told the following places are really good, what are your thoughts? Btw I live in AZ but I'm s fellow NY'er that loves food! I'm looking to enjoy Seattle weather and eat tons if good seafood.

Le Pichet
Matts at the market
Adana
Biscuit Bitch
Taylor's Shellfish
Duke's

I have a reso at Spinasse & Altura but will be eliminating one..

I'm really digging Stateside suggestion & L'oursin.

Looking for great breakfast brunch options or really good baked goods & coffee. We're staying at the Grand Hyatt but not afraid to uber for great places!

Good to know! If you had a choice, would you do dinner or lunch @ August?

What are your thoughts on Cochon? A friend of mine fined there 3 years ago & said its a must..

Hi Drake- did you do Petite for dinner or lunch?

Too many good places to eat over 3 days.. Ha!

Trying to maybe switch a couple of my dinner places for lunch to fit more in.

After eating lunch at August would you reccomend it for dinner?

Hi Blumie,

I have been following your threads and they have been VERY useful to my reservation plans. I am travelling to NOLA May 12-15th and I have the following reso's:

Thursday night- August
Friday Night- Cochon
Saturday- Friend's 40th at Tableau? party of 18! couldn't get in anywhere else.
Sunday- Jazz brunch at Commanders Palace.

My question is; should I do lunch at August on Friday and Coquette Thursday night, I see you speak very highly of it.

Also, any other suggestions would be great. We are staying in the FQ & we are early 40's, and late 30's age group.

Do you have any Chinese restaurants to reccommend
In Delray/Boca area? I'm coming from AZ and miss good Chinese terribly!!! Only there 1.5 days.. Marco Island for 4 days.

In a side note, any word on Crane's Beach hotel? About to book a room.

Dicks Hideaway might be an option for you. Very small but not noisy at all.

Happy Holidays! What's your favorite app to make with puff pastry? I just picked up some & I want to do something delicious!

Serious eats has an incredible stuffing recipe. I tried it last year & will be making again this year. The challah one Soubds delightful too.

I have been making Ruth Chris Sweet potato casserole for years! It's fabulous.

Another winning recipe is Pioneer Woman's brussel sprouts with dried cranberries & balsamic glaze. Might try something new this year though.

Epicurious's Apple Cinn crumble is also a favorite

I do enjoy food trucks every now & then. I want a killer sushi spot that locals would go to & I am open to charcuterie or whatever SF does good!

Hello,

I will be traveling to South San Fran Mon & Tues and I am looking for 2 fab places for dinner. Looking to spend $30-$40 a person. Stating 3 min from SFO airport with no transportation. I am willing to take a 10-15 min cab ride. I love sushi, asian, please no Mexican, I reside in AZ where we have tons.
