I've been away from St. Louis for years but am planning to return. I used to enjoy a most delicious prime rib at a restaurant that I believe was located on Lindbergh. Can't remember the name and wondered if it was still there. Thanks for any info.

Just moved here. Any decent places for lunch?

I hear they have other good stuff. Planning on going there for lunch.

I think she served him the leg of lamb she killed her husband with.

I don't overcook liver. Brown on one side, flip over and brown on the other. I think it must be old. They used to sell it fresh, now only frozen.

It was beef liver. It was frozen when I bought it. So many people don't like liver so it was probably old.

It's raw. It falls apart when I pull it out of the pack.

Liver used to be firm. Now when I pick it up it falls apart. What's going on?

There was a thread on cooking methods changing as you mature. I can't find it anywhere.

When my husband died 4 years ago, I lost interest in cooking, relying heavily on TV dinners. But now I am in a relationship with someone who is also interested in cooking so I think things will change.

I baked a turkey thigh in the oven and it was delicious, but they're so huge I have a lot left over. What do you do with the leftovers?

Love these little guys! How do you prepare them?

I never heard of neckbones till I met my husband. They are good with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and warm applesauce with cinnamon. Dip neckbones in horseradish. Yum!

My neighbor had a large farm and many cattle which she named. One of the cows broke a leg and had to be destroyed. She said its name was Dilly and she was going to have her ground up into hamburger and give us Dilly burgers. I couldn't eat them.

Trying to find a place with good sandwiches and salads.

Thanks for the heads up! I have Jamieson's chicken broth powder that I will add to a little water. That should do it.
