My nephew and wife are going next week to Sana Fe, celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. We are from the East Coast of North Carolina.

Need recommendations for best steaks, and other favorites of the foodies. All post are old, afraid some of the restaurants might have closed. Thanks for all the help! They are excited about the Hot Air Balloons in Albuquerque and a train ride!

No way they would enjoy a three hour meal, that's three hours they could spend in Times Square shopping, museums and loving the City.

Thank you so much!! Lots of great choices. Guess you consider Johns the best pizza experience? Making memories with my granddaughter and great niece is priority! We live on the coast of North Carolina, so we know good seafood. So I always ask where do the locals like to eat? That is the question we are always asked!!

Want the once in a lifetime trip with them making wonderful memories. Have to have the best pizza, Italian, seafood, even Mexican suggestions. Think they would love the food cart experience. First. Trip to the Gulf Coast, very excited, always depend on Chowhound to help me with restaurant choices. We live on the coast of NC, and love fresh seafood, great steaks, good breakfast. We are not sushi lovers or Thai foods. What we love is to eat where the locals eat. Not looking for the $100 meal. We are staying near Port Charlotte, don't mind the driving, we love to see the scenery. We are ages 57-67. Enjoy a drink but don't need the load crazy places. Help me out chowhounds I am counting on you

We are coming November 8th only there 4 days. We are staying in midtown east close to Grand Central Station. $100 a day for eating, probably do breakfast at hotel, except one day trying to go to Clinton Bakery. Don't see anything on chowhound about the Central Park boathouse for lunch, good food or just a tourist trap? We live on the coast of North Carolina, love good seafood if you have any recommendations would appreciate them.

The Girls from North Carolina are back from the big trip to NY. Thanks for all the suggestion, it was so nice to have the suggestions. We had the best cornbeef sandwich at KATZ, wonderful Italian, at Trattoria Tricolor, John Pizza, and Carmines and a place in Tribeca that I cannot remember the name. Wonderful cheesecake from Juniors, just placed an order for one to be delivered to NC. The brunch at The Plaza Hotel was a experience with a big price tag, but worth the experience. Ate at a Deli named All About Food, across from FAO Swartz it as delish, had not seen suggestions for that but it was really good, salads, sandwiches, just about everything. Started our week with the Times Square Bomb Scare and ended the week with the Staten Island Ferry Crash. I have to say, the security made us feel so safe, and the people were so helpful and friendly. City was clean, it was a wonderful time, and I thank all the chowhounds that helped!!! Forget to mention the Magnolia Bakery, OMG, I forgot how many cupcakes we ate they were wonderful, wish I had one right now!! Humingbird cake was my favorite.Amost forgot to mention Keens was wonderful, and the service amazing.
