Thank you so much for addressing the original question about slicing the vanilla beans before putting them in the vodka! I’m making it for my daughter in law as a birthday gift and I saw many recipes slicing the bean but am a huge fan of Ina so I doubted that her recipe with unsliced beans would not be delicious. Now I know it is!
