Shika’akwa. As Masha stated, the Algonquin word for wild onion. The swamps upon which Chicago was built were full of ‘em, and the scent was ... palpable

Most of the scotch tasters I know make faces at the Japanese “scotch” whiskies they’ve tried. Be forewarned-you might want to try them with a smaller group first
