Recently moved to the Lansdale area of Montgomery County, PA. Seems like a Chinese restaurant wasteland. I used to pick up a really good Kung Pao Chicken at Bamboo on Germantown Pike when I lived in Bucks County. Went back there a couple of weeks ago and it's not the same. Don't if they changed chefs or downgraded the quality of their ingredients, but the quality is definitely not as good. The other thing I'm having trouble with is Hot & Sour Soup. I've tried China King, Abacus and Lai Lai Garden. Lai Lai Garden is the best of that group but more expensive. Any Chowhounders with some ideas for me?
