Absolutely! And -- what a coincidence -- I'm making it for dinner tonight. Simple answer: Use the recipe in "The Joy of Cooking" cookbook for "Creamed Chipped Beef". I suggest that you soak the beef in hot tap water for ~10 seconds to reduce the salty taste, then pat it dry with paper towels. Enjoy the real thing!
