Does anyone have a great recipe for this? Need something I can make a day in advance for a party and cook through/warm up in the oven on site. I was thinking of the recipe below, but don’t know if it’s a possible make-ahead dish since the recipe doesn’t give that option. Happy to entertain your favorite recipes for creamy, dreamy make-ahead Mac and cheese. Thank you!

Great idea. I'm on the West Coast, so yea, I think the strawberries will come from Mexico. Maybe I'll do a light sugar sprinkle for light maceration and possible a balsamic drizzle?

mainly concerned about the integrity of the cheesecake with a heavy sauce, but maybe I’ll give it some freezer time before and after I sauce it

Actually was planning to top with sauce before slicing for the full presentation.

I’d like to place a Serious Eats strawberry sauce on top of Wood and Spoon’s no-bake cheesecake recipe, simply because strawberries aren’t in season.

Anything I should modify/keep in mind? Is there potential for the cheesecake structure to be compromised? Maybe best to use fresh strawberries rather than fancy sauce?

Bonus question: I’m am planning to use a ceramic tart pan. Tips on wedging out that first slice? Or should I just get a tart pan with a removable bottom?

Hasselback gratin = best idea. Thanks so much. Will definitely pull the gratin out of the oven 10 minutes shy and do the final steps at the party. Good tip about the chives! Just added them to my Instacart delivery. Thank you!

Does anyone have advice on how to turn hasselback potatoes into a stunning potluck dish? I live an hour from the party, so don’t want to complete the dish at home, only to have it sit for 3 hours until it’s actually consumed. Will have access to an oven onsite for 25 minutes at most. I want to do a “fully loaded” version, with cheese, bacon, sour cream, etc. But will forgo the plan for another version that will work better under the circumstances.
