As you all know, I live around the Jean Talon market and Little Italy. I know that the Oscar confection store at St Hubert and Beaubien once stocked the Droste Letters ,and the Alati Caserta patisserie on Dante has all manner of marzipan treats for most of the major Christian holidays. By the way, did anyone else take advantage of the half price promotion on the half priced cannolis and zuppa Inglese, large rum cakes? Oh well, its over today, but it was a delicious November..Unheard of prices in this day and age.
