Hello! We are heading there for a 2 night girls weekend in April. I was hoping that some of you would offer some suggestions for restaurants that have not only good food but atmosphere for us gals. There is nothing I hate more than spending $30+ drinks and the food being mediocre. Also, any lunch places or must stop at this place for a "x" suggestions would be appreciated. It's all of our first times in Vail. Thanks so much!!!

I'm looking for typical Polish food such as pierogi (traditional - beef, sauerkraut, potato, as well as sweet cheese),
stuffed cabbage, etc. My father was American Polish and I grew up eating these foods. The only time I've tasted food close to what he cooked was when i was in Boleslawiec and we ate at Restauracja Opałkowa Chata. It was as if I was a child again. So I"m hoping that there are some authentic restaurants there where I can enjoy the tastes of my childhood again. I of course would love atmosphere but really I'm looking for the food. It would also be nice to have a few other choice atmosphere restaurants with good food as there are 6 of us going and we'll need to eat our lunch and dinners out for 3 days. Thank you for your input and taking the time to make suggestions for me.

Thank you so much for all of your help!! I'm going to decide between Au Bougnat and Brasserie Balzar. I think one of these will work best for us because they have accept reservations at 6:30pm. Do you have a favorite of the 2?

We are going to be going all day starting with a market tour in the morning so I really think that we need to sit down and just take a long break before we set off to our evening tour. Especially for the kids. I was considering a picnic but if the weather is not great and we have not have planned for something indoors the kids may melt down, I may too!!

Hello! I've been searching the boards for a restaurant near Notre Dame that seats at 6pm. I have found some near but I haven't found any that start seating before 7pm. I think we really need to seat at 6-6:30pm the latest because we have a 9pm ghost walk tour. I''m used to dinner being 1.5-2 hours long.

I was hoping for french cuisine but am open to just really good food. There are 4 of us, my husband and I and our 11 and 12 year old. My husband hates fish so there needs to be something else on the menu.

I've spend hours on this board and found alot of good restaurants for other nights but this one I really am in a time crunch so if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Do I have to call and reserve a cab for that time? Or do I just hop on one like in NYC? Taking a cab will be a relief. The bus, since I'm not familiar with them, sounds scary. Thank you for all the recommendations!!

It is our first time to Rome and no one ever mentioned the bus to us. I'm not familiar with riding buses either so I would never thought of it. I will look into it I think that will help tremendously. Thank you for the advice.

We are ending a tour at the Roman Forum and have only 1 hour to walk the 1 mile back to Piazza Barberini for our next tour. We'll need to eat lunch on the way. My Mom and Aunt do not walk fast so I anticipate the walk taking at least 35 minutes. I'm looking for suggestions for a place to grab a quick bite at either place or in route. Thanks.

I'm looking for some suggestions for dinner in Rome near the Fountain. We'll only be there for 3 nights so I want to make sure we don't end up eating microwave/boxed meals. If you have a Gluten Free restaurant recommendation that would be even better! Thanks!
