With my 40th birthday approaching, I would like to have catered appetizers/desserts at my home to celebrate. I am open to kinds of food and am located in Maple Grove. There will probably be about 20 people helping me celebrate.
Can anyone make some recommendations?
Thanks!

3 Squares, owned by the same group as the two you mentioned, is where my love for granola began! They no longer have it either, which is why I am now looking for a replacement.
I love granola with lots of nuts and dried fruit when I go out for breakfast/brunch.
I do like it at Good Day Cafe but thought I should branch out a bit.
I live in Maple Grove but am willing to travel for this. :)
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the tip about opentable.com!
Sorry to have been so vague. We are all in Maple Grove and are looking for suburbs around here or Minneapolis.
HI everyone~
We are actually having a "no kids" dinner with a bunch of neighbors next Sunday around 5:00. There will be 12 of us but we are learning that most places will only take a reservation for 10.
Any suggestions as to a good, fun, upper scale place to go?
Thanks!
I went to Jimmy's in Minnetonka a few weeks ago and was really pleased with their crab cakes. It seemed like a lot of meat and almost no "filler."
Hello...
We are planning a 70th birthday party of about 8 adults.
The "birthday boy" loves prime rib. I don't eat it so can you tell me your favorite spot?
Minneapolis/St. Paul or the western suburbs, please.
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I am in need of two pies for a 70th birthday party in December. I am in Maple Grove but will travel. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi everyone~
My newest pregnancy craving has me wanting a pretty traditional lobster bisque.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi everyone~
My daughter's birthday is coming up and she has a milk/dairy allergy. We are also thinking that she is allergic to eggs. Does anyone have any suggestions for a bakery?
Thanks!
Hi everyone~
My daughter was just diagnosed with a milk allergy, so I am entering the world of being careful and selective. Can anyone recommend a place where we can find tasty treats made without milk?
Thanks!
Hi everyone~
I am looking for a good chow mein around town. I prefer chicken but, most importantly, a chow mein that comes in a brownish sauce. So many that I've tried come in a white/clear sauce/glaze that I don't like very much.
(The importance of the brown sauce all stems from the food at a Chinese restaurant that I LOVED to go to when I was growing up...Port Arthur's in New Hope if anyone remembers it.)
Thanks!
Hi everyone~
i was at a wedding this past weekend and discovered this cake!
Unfortunately, the wedding was in Clinton, Iowa so now I am looking for it closer to home.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
