Back in the early 80’s, we worked at McDonnell Douglas on Jefferson and Centinela! We would order special combination fried rice for our lunch half hour. We would call our orders in so it would be ready when we got there! What would come out was a good size mound of fried rice! We would ask for ketchup and it was seasoned just right! I sure do miss those days, Gene Sing had that coffee shop humming!
Wouldn’t it have been a nice gesture to put a plaque in his honor on that his beloved corner!!!
