I worked at the one in Scottsdale for most of the time then finally ended up working at the one in Metrocenter. I worked for the company from 1976 to 1980. I do remember the sexy french maid uniforms. Yeah! The food was pretty good! They had these fake French "francs" they distributed to the employees so the employee could eat there.

I worked for Caf' Casino (in the bakeshop) From 1976 to 1980 at the Scottsdale location and also the Metro Center store. Caf' Casino moved to California a few years later, then apparently left the foodservice part of their business and returned to the grocery part. they bought Smart, Final and Iris, and changed the name to Smart & Final. They seem to be doing pretty good so far.
