Ok, that is definitely more east than I was thinking. However, it’s good to know they are ought there, somewhere. Yum. And thank you.

Does anyone know where there are fresh rice noodles (sheets - warm, not packaged) for purchase in the East Bay? My favorites (listed in previous posts, dating back years) have all closed I think. The place in the Mission used to sell by the pound, warm, and tossed in a bag.

Hello- Perhaps I am failing at searching and finding only old posts so apologies here if that's the case. I am trying to find something new or unbeatable in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area for dinner in Sept. I am only coming up with old posts (might be me). We will visit Richardson's (because we can't help ourselves after all these years and all that great Carne Adovada) but we need a solid 2nd night's choice. I trust you guys!!! Any suggestions?

Thanks. We will give it a try! I love Chow for dining roulette.

I never seem to have any time....but tomorrow is wide open. We usually fall into old habits but I would really like to have something simple, local, and not necessarily expensive...but memorable. Preferably lunch, anywhere in the Bay Area. Is there one go to place you would recommend?

Can anyone reco a great place to reserve and pick up or ship desserts for Thanksgiving? I usually make everything from scratch but this year I have to trave (biz) up until the day. This is my favorite holiday and I am having 15 people over but I won't get home until 2 hours before the meal. I have recruited my children to shop, and stuff and bake the turkey but I don't know what to do for desserts. Suggestions?
