I recall a recent dinner at The Smith which was so loud that it hurt my ears and gave me a headache. I felt like I had just left a heavy metal concert with slight ringing after just 1 hour there. Do any of you enjoy such restaurants or know someone who does? It'd like to know how they manage to survive a dinner with painfully loud noise without wearing earplugs.
