You might consider Honu for your preconcert dinner at Napili Kai. Beautiful location, wonderful fresh seafood.

The Sea House is good for pupus, but for dinner they are very meh

Mama's has the most romantic and beautiful setting of any Maui restaurant I feel. Their food can be hit or miss if you are there at peak time. We always suggest a late lunch for a relaxing meal

Even the best places can produce a bad meal. That's why critics make multiple visits before issuing an opinion

I would suggest you start a new thread. Most users don't like ten year old threads

I've never looked for it. but several restaurants claim to use it. And, there are a lot of Mexicans on Maui - when you get there, ask one

North of Seattle, but we like T&T Seafood Restaurant. 22511 Hwy 99 Ste 103 Edmonds, WA

Not so much of a tourist spot. Lots of Asian locals dine here.

Within 15 minutes? Da Kitchen comes to mind http://dakitchen.com/ or Hali'imaile in Makawao http://hgsmaui.com/ . Another spot would be 'A Saigon Cafe' in Wailuku.

We were in Santa Fe two weeks ago.

Tapas at La Boca http://www.labocasf.com/ was excellent, and not cheap. They had blood sausage on the menu which I haven't seen too often.

We had dinner at Cafe Pasquals http://www.pasquals.com/ which was very good, but left none of us exclaiming over.

Finally, the drinking chocolate as Kakawa's https://www.kakawachocolates.com/ had us making a second stop for more.

Just to point out that New Mexican food is not the same as SoCal Mexican.

We try to drink the coffee grown on that island: Hawaii Island, Maui, Kauai.

On Kauai and Maui you can go to the company store for a cuppa.

Very sad news, a favorite place. This is from the facebook page.

"Tom Selman's Main Street Bistro will be closing Friday 6/26/2015
I thank you all for 10 and a half years of your patronage it has been a wonderful cruise

We always hit Masalaa for Indian Vegetarian. Good quality, family oriented - not one of those uppity Indian restaurants,

Flagstaff is a real town, not a tourist-mystical town like Sedona. If you want restaurants that cater to normal folks then Flag is the place for you.

Had a meh experience at Prep & Pastry this morning. Excellent service though.

Ghini's is hit and miss we find. Her father's bakery (attached to Ghini's, but separate area, is much more satisfying. http://ghiniscafe.com/la-baguette-bak...

We met a member of the Tucson Sushi club last week. She told that they consider Shogun (5036 N Oracle Rd, Tucson) to be the best in town.

We've been there, seems okay, but Sushi in Seattle is far better.

An ever changing menu, a bit quirky, a very creative restaurant. One of our favorite spots in town.
