No idea if you'll ever see this but what you most likely had was "Greek sauce." It's a varietal of chili served on hot dogs in Erie at a place called New York Lunch. Other places as well.
Rather Cinci Chili ish but not as bold.

My suggestion is try it for yourself. I've done it and really have no issues.

Gave the breakfast line a decent look (3 different items.) when I was at the SIL's for Easter. Nothing was worth ordering again.

I don't eat much out of the pastry case but what I have had seems to be not as good as before.
Right down to the Ginger Molasses Cookie I had last night.

I doubt you'd find it anywhere outside Nashville. With very rare exceptions.

Been using this for a while now and love.

One great thing about the beef is, we're on a very tight budget right now and budget beef aint great. So I simmer ground beef in some water with some of the BTB Beef. Let the water simmer off and then brown the meat. Really helps to bolster cheap ground beef for the likes of chili and meat sauces.

I just run my hand under the tap and if the water doesn't appear to be cold or warm I consider it in the usable zone.

Never had a problem.

I love dicing the leftover fries and using them for home fries the next morning.

So Mrs. Sippi and I paid a visit on our way south for Easter.
First off, I think the new home is a lot better. If for no other reason than they had washrooms.
Looks like they rescued some stool from the old place so that made for a nice touch.
There are more tables and simply, more room.

As for the food, it seems to be just like it was. I had a Quint with American and Bacon. I loved it.

Still a favourite.

I don't even soak them. I make a pretty saucy lasagna and regular noodles, straight out of the box is certainly the best way. Gives them more structure.

100 Grand bars as was mentioned. THE best chocolate bar out there. And nowhere to be found in Canada that I'm aware of.

If you can get your hands on Goo Goo Clusters, that's a good idea as well.

Moon Pies aren't available here either and although they're similar, Wagon Wheels aren't the same thing.

Divinity.

Much better than using it at all. If you only go through a bottle a year, spend an extra few bucks and get the good stuff.

Absolutely for pizza. I usually set the oven to 350° and put my slices on it. When the alarm goes off saying it's at temp, I turn it off and wait about 5 - 10 minutes. The longer, the hotter and crispier the crust.

I reheat and otherwise cook all kinds of stuff on my stone and never worry about stuff getting into the stone. I only scrape off burnt chunkies.

I haven't been yet but can confirm both the quality of the original location and the owner's attention to quality.

So because you don't like it all the people who do must suffer??

Yep, EarthFair. I like the store quite a bit actually. Good selection and it would seem you don't need to take out a mortgage to shop there.

My SIL shops there more and more.

I do not believe there is a Costco in Buffalo. I just checked their warehouse locations and they don't show one.

But, in answer to your question, your Costco card will work. If you use MC here for payment, be ready for it to be denied. They haven't switched yet. They still take Amex. Something I found out when I was in the states for Thanksgiving.

I do want to give it a go. I've driven by and it's everything you could ask for in a BBQ "Joint."
Will see if we're down at Easter about a visit.

You are within an hour driving of 2 of what Mrs. Sippi calls her "Big 3".
Stan's Restaurant (http://www.stanscountryrestaurant.com/) in Columbia is right off I-65 at exit 46. Supposedly the model on which Cracker Barrel was based. Same set up. Everything is home made with the exception of their cream pies. (for some reason) It's a meat n 3.
Bell Buckle Cafe (http://www.bellbucklecafe.com/Bell_Bu...) is in Bell Buckle which is about 15 miles from I-24 in Bell Buckle (S/E of Nashville) Pretty little town that is a bit of a time capsule. BBC has the best non chocolate dessert I've ever had. The Oatmeal Cake with Caramel. Just simply incredible. Like a thick, soft oatmeal cookie with caramel sauce on top. One of the best meat n 3's you'll find.

Should you feel like going as far as Chattanooga then Dixie Freeze (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dixie-...) in S. Pittsburg is a great bet. Part drive in, part meat n 3. It's 2 blocks away from the Lodge Cast Iron plant and Factory Store.
In Chatt is Champy's Chicken (http://champyschicken.com/) which has the best fried chicken I've ever had. Delta tamales are great too. Also the best deep fried dill pickles.

Should you decide to head to Jack Daniels, Bell Buckle is kinda along the way but there is also Barrel House BBQ (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Barrel... Lynchburg. BBQ obviously but supposedly they make a wicked BBQ Grilled Cheese (w/mac n cheese). I didn't try it but a friend at the distillery says her kids eat them all the time. Good Q but not my favourite. I do have another buddy that eats there all the time as well.
Also on the square is a little boutique selling crafts, kitsch and goodies. It's called Nina's Taste of Tennessee (http://www.ninastasteoftennessee.com/).

If you head up to the Land Between the Lakes region, stop by Broadbents (http://www.broadbenthams.com/) for the best country ham in the country. They did have a little cafe that serves sandwiches and the like. Not sure if they still do.

South of town there is the Cool Springs area with just about every known chain store or restaurant known to (wo)man. There is also Cool Springs Brewery (http://www.coolspringsbrewery.com/). Terrific bar fare and house brewed beers. The pizza was a perennial favourite of Nashvillians in a previous incarnation.

Near by (CS) is Franklin and Puckett's Grocery. An eclectic mix of bar, bistro and meat n 3. Dotson's in Franklin is also very good. Well known for their cream pies. They also have Puckett's Boathouse which I've only been to once but was thoroughly impressed.
There is also the original Puckett's Grocery in Leipers Fork. (http://www.puckettsofleipersfork.com/) They aren't associated with the other Puckett's around the area. Equally as good though.

In Columbia, Tn there is Truelove's Pizza and Grits. (http://www.truelovespizza.com/) Yes, pizza and grits. Both are fantastic. Their house grits that Mrs. Sippi wanted desperately to hate (not at all traditional) are amazing. She just couldn't hate them.

Well, hopefully that'll do.

Not sure where you're coming from but I may be able to help with that as well.

Enjoy

Rotel. It's canned, stewed tomatoes and chilies and is fabulous.

1 can of Rotel and 1 lb Velveeta makes a queso dip that is just about as southern as it gets. You can't watch SEC football without it.

Yummy market does in fact have it. At least, the one in Vaughan does.

It can be hard to get this time of year.

A year or two ago I was credited with the first napkin review. I believe we have the first carrying vessel review.
If you can call it that.
