It does not seem to work for me with ice cream- the combination of fat and lactose is too much for my digestive system...It helps with milk and yogurt, but not ice cream.

drinking the last of the sangria from yesterday with some habanero jack cheese and all the wine soaked fruit at the bottom of the pitcher.

Those mini pecan pies are among my favorite things ever from TJ...are they included as one of the 6?

I would be so excited!!!

I ran in to some more .89 pineapples after Kayaking and purchased the soft garlic and herb cheese in the tub and some pita chips to eat on the way home, both were very good.

They are unusually good. Bison and Beef rule for me, but these are very good. If you love your own, they may not compare...but with TJ return policy there is nothing to lose.

Strawberries from the farmer's market and .89 pineapple this week at Aldi's. Awesome combo.

I also bought some Stacy's baked banana bread chips on clearance so maybe in a bit, Ill try those out.

I had a taste of the Arby's orange dream and it was pretty dreamy, but lactose intolerance prevents from consuming too much.

When my lactose intolerance kicks in because they didn't have anything dairy free and I wanted to join in the fun...

Today, I found some horseradish cheddar (like pub cheese) in a tub for 2.69- (4.99 at the regular grocery) It was very good and comparable if not the same product.

They also a special purchase of sliced cheese- jalepeno, gouda, and horseradish cheddar. Have not tried them yet.

Love the age reserve white cheddar small block.

Happy to say pineapples were .89. Can't wait to eat these all week!

I love this too...all of them. On a side note- I found horseradish cheddar in a tub that was very similar if not the same at Aldis. It was only 2.69 a container, where as it is 4.99 at the regular grocery and slightly more at TJ.

Hmmm...I'm intrigued by that flavor.

This is more of a confessional, my poor pancreas with the carbs I have consumed today!!!

I'm snacking on TJ chimchurri rice- I have taken to overcooking a small amount in the microwave so it gets all crunchy.

I have went off the deep end today- strawberry cupcake for breakfast followed by 9 cookies (4 chocolate chip, 3 iced sugar cookies, 2 no-bakes) over the course of the day popping into the break room.

Tomorrow I must eat/snack on real food.

I had some on bison burgers. I liked the flavor, hope to try it on steak this weekend.

I like chunking them up and adding them to brewed ice tea.

Baby arugula with shaved Manchego and red wine vinaigrette...I've been eating lots of this lately...ready for summer veggies and fruit and for things to be a bit lighter.

I'm loving the organic red wine vinaigrette (shelf stable) over organic baby arugula right now. I top it with the new shaved Manchego...another yay.

I spied some new spices on the what's new shelf. I bought the pyramid salt and BBQ rub. There was a pack of I think 5 small cans together that I will wait until others chime in with reviews and uses before trialing.

Just had my first S'more of the season..yum!

Other favorites- fried green tomatoes, spiked strawberry lemonade, extra sweet tea made in the sun, corn on the cob with dill butter, all of the goodies at the county and state fair that I must have every year including pineapple whip, salt water taffy, caramel corn, funnel cake, elephant ear, and whatever the new fried food of the year might be, love the fried snickers.

And my favorites that I don't have to feel guilty about- salted tomatoes still warm from the sun, sautéed zucchini, peaches, watermelon with feta and mint, cantaloupe, Can't wait for all of these to be in season.

So happy there is no judgment...all of the skin from my Costco rotisserie chicken. Wish there were two.

Earlier I had some TJ chunky applesauce.

Love it. The first time I experienced it was at Hugo's Cellar in Downtown Las Vegas.

Always enjoy guac and Saganaki-OPA.

Last summer , can't remember the name but went to a restaurant in Seattle that prepared our Cesar salad, baked potato toppings, and flambéed dessert tableside, it was fun to have each course presented that way.

Along the same vein, enjoy The Peddler in Gatlinburg where they cut your steak tableside.

I love those freeze dried grapes...and yes they are crunchy and then kindof melt.

brilynn79 commented 8 years ago

I agree with your assessment, it does seem to have extra sauce so I mix in some of their organic frozen peas.

I'm obsessed with the chimchurri rice, I could live on that stuff.

Love the Stouffer's brand that was mentioned down thread. I only tried it based on another thread here. My mom used to make it using the cheap bagged lunch meat.

I'm excited to try the dips listed, both the hot and the cold. My aunt used to make a dip with it that had cream cheese, sour cream, green peppers, and chipped beef...wonderful chip dip.

I saw they also had a bag of all spiced jelly beans- ginger, clove, licorice, wintergreen etc....not sure of the brand.
