Any suggestions on more "gourmet" M cucan restaurants downtown or westward?

Thank you! They live in the suburbs but ideally the party would be in Boston proper.

I'm helping my friend's husband who wants to throw her a 50th birthday party in early May. They just moved to Boston and I'm helping him remotely from LA. :) I think ideally we'd have a private room for about 25 girlfriends. Great food/atmosphere is key though open to something unique (clambake? private dinner by a chef in a beautiful outdoor venue?). Any and all suggestions appreciated!!!

It was the best - I wish they would bring it back, along with so many of their stores that have closed!

I need a dinner spot near the Norton Simon museum. Any recommendations for something fabulous that a bunch of foodies might love? Any suggestions very much appreciated!

Does anyone know who the current owners of Bay Cities Deli in Santa Monica are? Thanks in advance.

I need to make reservations for a business dinner for 6 in a few weeks and am looking for a very nice restaurant, that's not extremely loud. And, the food can be steak, Italian, French - nothing too ethnic for this crowd. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Try Bay Cities in Santa Monica or there's an Argenitian market right off the Manhattan Beach Blvd. exit off the 405. i think it's called Gaucho Market

i haven't tried it yet, but the items look much smaller and more dense in calories than the stuff they had before.

I am a foodie - he, a little less so. Italian, American, eclectic all ok. He's not that into Asian for these kinds of dinners. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
