ZUTTO report

mrnyc | Dec 25, 2003 11:52 AM

we had dinner here a couple days ago. it's as fine as ever. spouse had the 'seven seas' standard tuna sushi and roll variey platter. we shared the sasaki (?) sauteed wild greens salad, ankimo appetizer and i had the mexican spicy sashimi (they were out of my usual order -- the artic char sashimi). all very tasty. nice variety of sake, smooth, dry, fragrant, etc. styles, make sure to get yours in the wood masu. i'm happy to say this place has been solid as a rock since day one. fyi--this ZUTTO on greenwich is the best one both food and sake wise, tho the orginal tribeca ZUTTO has a more romantic interior. cost was only $50-something w/o tip.
