I love Zumms and have been going there since I was 17, I am now 45. One thing I could count on was the Weinerschnitzel tasting the same everytime and the Sauerbraten being fork tender. It would shred and the vinegary flavor was outstanding.
I had a craving last night for Sauerbraten and was given what I can only surmise was thin sliced pork with a vinegary gravy. If I wanted that I would have asked for it. I had to USE A KNIFE to cut through it!
I was so sad that I did not sleep all night. Although I told the waitress this is not Sauerbraten,I didn't make a stink. I do not want to get flagged. I still love the place but what happened to letting the meat sit in a vinegary brine for 5 days! This definitely didn't happen to this cut of meat. I am heart broken.
