Zojirushi Rice Cooker

Is this thing REALLY all that?

I ask because my husband's trusty old Hamilton Beach rice cooker kind of vexes me. It tends to overcook white rice until it's gummy, undercook brown rice, and if you leave rice in the pot (on the warm setting or even turned off) it burns.

I just saw the Zojirushi at Costco for $89 - much cheaper than other places. Thoughts?
