Zante's Indian Food

Justin | Oct 22, 200112:46 AM

Zante's Indian Food pretty much rules AND they deliver too! They usually say 40 minutes for delivery. I hang up the phone. 20 minutes later, they're at my door with hot naan, samosas, biryanis and more.

Tip #1 - get it delivered! The restaurant itself is kinda divey and they burn a lot of nag champa incense. Nag champa tikka masala is not good. But the MUNI 24 'Its-never-there-though' bus line has a stop right in front.

Tip #2 - the chef tends to be on the spicy side - even for mild dishes so if you like it spicy, go for it. Otherwise, specify ' MILD' or you will feel like you're the space shuttle blasting off tomorrow morning!

Tip #3 - Make sure they got your address & CC # right. They'll sometimes rush you off the phone but I've had it happen several times where they got the credit card #s transposed or or gotten my address messed up.

All in all, a good find. Cheap, solid food that's some of the best Indian food we've found outside the UK.
