The new Zagat's is available online, and it might be of interest to many of the posters here. The reason: the new edition is peppered with reviews of "ethnic" places in non-tourist neighborhoods. These establishments never would have been mentioned in past Zagats. Interestingly, none, or nearly none, of the Chowish entries are number-rated, even though some are quite old. Thus, the editor appears to have included them outside of the bounds of the normal populist Zagat procedure. As a fairly new poster on this board, my opinion is that there is a strong correlation between raves here and mention in the new Zagat. What's the deal?
