Zabar's Market, Manhattan overnight shipping...

While on a recent trip to D.C. we were invited to brunch at a family friends' home. I was sipping my coffee when he pulls a big Zabar's package out of the fridge. 'Did you bring it up from New York,' I asked. 'No,' he responded. He had it shipped overnight. It was loaded with bagels, appetizing salads, smoked fish, lox, etc. And, it all tasted so good! (No, I do not work for Zabar's.)
Anyone else have experience with food shipped overnight to a distant location? Please share...
