Like so many others, I have enjoyed Zabar's for many years. However, I never realized how good their delivery service can be. Twice in the past year I have been invited to out-of-town brunches where food items from Zabar's, Manhattan, had been shipped in overnight, and were as good as could be. Last year with friends who now live in D.C., and most recently in Westchester County. In both cases: a lot of Jewish soul food, lox, a variety of bagels, smoked fish, sable, salads, spreads...all yum!
