YUZU in Torrance - Anyone been there for dinner?

Hi, I read about a new Japanese place in Torrance called YUZU that got a rave review in the LA TIMES, so on my day off on President's Day, I drove down from Hollywood to check it out for lunch - the room is nice, modern, sleek, but the lunch menu is much more limited and totally different than the much-talked-about dinner menu consisting of trendy "shokashu" tapas-style Japanese small plates?! Has anyone been to Yuzu for dinner, wondering which small plates/tiny bites are best? Lunch was nice, if not ground-breaking. The bento box special was "out" that way (how can that be at Noon when the place only opens at 11:30am?) - oh well, I had a very nice sashimi plate with house-made tofu and all the trimmings for $10. My friend's Tonkatsu he said was only OK, not earth-shattering, and certainly not as good as Curry House in West LA. Desert was, you guessed it, yuzu sorbet, which struck the perfect palette-cleansing grace note to end the meal. Well, back to the grind...
