Yung Ho and new Mandarin Deli

Robert Lu | May 17, 2004 01:51 AM

Never had anything but the soy milk and doughnuts at Yung Ho (corner of New Ave & Valley Blvd), but tried the curry beef pastry recently and it rocked my world. Replaces Porto's potato ball as my new favorite object stuffed with ground beef.

Also tried the new Mandarin Deli in Temple City (Las Tunas Dr & Cloverly), and food is as good as the other locations. Still, is it just me or is there less and less beef each year in the beef w/homemade noodle soup?
