Any place on the West side (or, anywhere in L.A.) that makes Thai curries such as panang from scratch with fresh coconut, make their own curry paste, etc.? Oh - and, are good at it?
After having a really good beef panang at Natalee Thai, made the mistake of visiting TempleofThai.com (cooking store) and reading about authentic curries. Now have extreme hankering to see what Thai cooking from scratch actually tastes like, in Thailand. Would like to avoid long, expensive plane flight. So thought I'd start by seeing if there's any great home-Thai-cooking place in L.A.
