Yummy and KOSHER on South Street in Philadelphia

Prettypoodle | Apr 13, 200711:33 AM     5

I went to Mama's Grill yesterday on the 600 block of South Street and wow what a find!
My fallafel platter was large and filling and delish!
I stumbled upon this place as I was walking to Jim's Steaks (NOT kosher!) to go have a (non kosher) steak sandwhich. The smart owners placed a sign on the sidewalk advertising their fallafel as being vegitarian which made me look at the front window. There, in the corner, by the door, I see the word Kosher in both english and hebrew. So I skipped (treif ) Jim's and had a really great meal!
They are open Sunday-Thursday until 9 pm (not sure about Friday or when they open) and closed all day Saturday.
