Yummy Guide - Sac.

Peter | Jan 14, 200611:59 PM

Hong Kong style cafe, on 3005 Freeport. It's the only (?) HK style cafe in Sac., opened for a year. This is our first time. It has most of the requsite HK style cafe items: curry, rice plates, baked spahetti, jook, sweet bean drinks, desserts, udon, etc. We had curry beef rice plate, beef jook, and teriyaki eel on rice. Nothing is spectacular, but serviceable. We'll be back to work thru some of their very extensive menu.

Several things worth mentioning. They serve breakfast on weekends from 9:00. It's typical HK style A, B, and C menu. They have over 20 dishes for dinner at $5.99 each, or 3 for $17 (with soup and all the rice you can eat). Also from 2:30 to 5:30 they have an afternoon $2 per plate small plate menu.

All in all good and worth a return visit.
