Occupying the former location of Richmond Hill's decade old Hamburger Icon - Steer-Inn Burger. This recent replacement is so new, the owner ( a father and son team from Iran ) is still in the process of finalizing the menu when we tried it out today.
Based on the quality of food we savored, this place, IMO has great potential to become one of the better Hamburger joint in the Richmond Hill/ Markham area. As with most newly open places, the main issue is whether the owner/kitchen can maintain the consistency of the food quality?
My son and I had a 7 oz Bacon Burger combo and a Chicken Shawarma platter. We were told everything was prepared 'in-house'. Including a great sesame burger bun, which was special baked by a third party outfit, using the owner's special recipe! Toasting of the bun created great texture and aroma to augment the beef Pattie.....which was freshly made and grilled over charcoal to create a nice crust. The meat, sans filler, was moist and full of beefy flavor.
The accompanying crispy and crunchy home made fries were exceptional.
The Chicken Shawarma platter was generous and huge. The meat, nicely seasoned, cooked and tasty.
Lastly, they offer a rare and super-delicious beverage fruit drink from Vietnam. I chose a Passion Fruit plus ' Basil Seed ' flavor which was different and delightful!
The only downside was, at $35, I think a mistake was made by the owner in over-charging us. Not surprising since he was too distracted and excited in chatting with us?
