In October a friend and I capped off our evening with a stop at Yume Gelato after dinner nearby at Origami. The shop had been open less than two months, offering housemade gelato, as well as tea and espresso drinks.

The pistachio flavor's quite intense and the solids add heft and density to the texture. Paired with piña colada sorbet just cause I wanted something fruity, but the pistachio was the better choice. My small cup was $4.75 with two flavors.

Later on hearing that I’d had dinner at Origami, my AirBnB hostess said, “There’s a new gelato place kitty-corner from Corti Brothers.” Yes, I was just there!
