Yuma help - dinner and breakfast

GretchenS | Jan 14, 2008 12:31 PM

I will be staying in Yuma for one night, driving my elderly parents from Orange County to Tucson next month (they need to break the trip up). I have had a great time reading the posts on Yuma (thank you, Ed Dibble!!!) and my preference for dinner is Los Manjares de Pepe which Mapquest tells me is a short 9 minute drive from the hotel we are planning to use (Fairfield Inn Marriott on S Sunridge Dr). Questions: they have a liquor license, correct? (the sine qua non for my parents) And is there usually a wait at dinner time about 6:30 on a Saturday night?

If for some reason my parents decide they prefer a "fine dining" experience (I may be the driver but I don't get a full vote -- don't ask), I am thinking Ciao Bella unless someone thinks there is a better alternative.

Now, what about breakfast? Any good recs? (No, we will not be eating the complimentary Marriott breakfast if there is any alternative at all!)

Thanks in advance for your advice!
