Several months ago a new Cuban restaurant, Yuca, opened at 1800 M, St., N. W. It's chef once taught in a culinary school in Havana, later in a Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne. The only mention I can find of it is the link below from Washingtonian. Still, to the best of my knowledge it has not been reviewed yet. Has anyone been?
This could be our next outing if its good.
As an aside it's owner is Mike Tavenner. I went to high school at Blair with a Mike Tavenner many years ago. What are the chances it is the same person?
