Yowza !!!! - Phoenix Pastificio will have a retail counter at new digs

rworange | May 24, 2006 12:43 PM

According to day's Inside Scoop, starting June 1st Phoenix Pastificio will sell retail at their new location 1250 Addison St. (at Bonar). Great news to start the day.

Other Inside Scoop stuff in link below:

Two Fools in HMB has indeed closed and will be replaced by Chez Shea (cute ... sort of the way I say thank you in bad Chinese.) By the owners of Cafe Gibralter.

Thomas Keller is now in the fried chicken crawl. He's opening a temporary restaurant called Ad Hoc that is walk-in only. It will live for six months only. Gentlehounds, rev your engines and get out your running shoes. Will people camp out on the sidewalk like ardent concert fans waiting for tickets?

Coszmo Corner will become Circa with upscale comfort food
- Dungeness crab tater tots
- PB&J foie gras (house-made peanut butter sauce and blueberry demi-glace)
- cupcake sampler dessert
Chef is a Chron rising-star Erik Hopfinger formerly of Tablespoon.
