just got back from NYC and used this site to help me set up my trip and wanted to return the favor.
ate at tavern on the green and loved it (especially my wife).the service was good but even with "reservations" had to wait.
had thanksgiving dinner at micheal jordans in grand central! sat on the balcony and it was special.
my traditional meal was good but my wife and sons steak was better.
service was super and the atmoshere on the balcony unforgettable.
tried BLT the last night and was underwhelemed.
the waiter was a jerk as we were not drinking (cuts into his 15%) and the steak was average.
charged us $4 every time we got a refill of tea or coke!
i'm not cheap but thats insulting.
normas at our hotel for breakfast was great.
the menu was full of options from the old stand-bys to real off the map stuff.
service was great.
enjoyed the big apple!
