Would You Believe? A Yogurtland Location With No Customers

I really like Yogurtland with its smorgasboard approach and reasonable pricing. But one thing I don't like about it is the crowds, even when you'd figure it's an off hour for frozen yogurt. (I shouldn't complain--I hear it's worst in cities where they only have a few stores.) Fortunately, at least for now there's a secret location where crowds are nothing to be concerned about, except perhaps late at night. Going a little after noontime on a weekday I found the San Gabriel Yogurtland to be completely empty. I made my purchase, ate my yogurt, and saw nary another customer. And I was probably their first customer of the day because the trash can was empty. The problem with this location is that it is in the newly opened and ghostly vacant Fortune Plaza shopping center at 123 E. Valley Blvd., across from Hawaii Supermarket. Furthermore, Yogurtland is all the way at the back, and the signage is pretty much impossible to see if you're driving by on the street. The only reason I noticed it was because I was walking by. This shopping center appears to be in a world of hurt, coming on line at the worst possible moment. At one time there was a banner touting an upcoming location of Jazz Cat Cafe, but there is no longer any indication of such an opening.
