Yogurt Heaven

Magnificent food experience:

While visiting my family in Phoenixville, my mother offered me a new find from Trader Joes: Woodstock Water Buffalo Yogurt in Strawberry.

Much like myself, my mother is a huge fan of Total Yogurt, and we were very happy upon it's return to Trader Joe's several months ago. On a recent visit, a sales associate offered my mother a taste of the new buffalo yogurt and my mother refused, as she is so deeply in love with Total. The woman convinced my mother to try it, she bought it and gave one to me.

For me good yogurt is better than ice cream. The creamy, thick, slightly sour taste is so refreshing and cleansing I cannot resist it. Woodstock yogurt in strawberry is one of the best I have ever tasted. It is only slightly sweet, the ingredients seem natural and it is thick (it doesn't jiggle when you shake it). Also, they only cost $1.50 for a re-sealable cup. It is nonetheless very fattening, but less than the Total with whole milk. To buy a ball of buffalo mozzarella costs me at least $8! The buffalo milk is just as mild and creamy as in it's cheese form.

It also comes in Vanilla, but I was told it is a little too sweet.
