I saw CIAODAHEAD's message of March 27 and decided to try the Mediterranean thick yogurt from the cute (and oh so very clean!) place on 21st Ave. between 77th and 78th str. in Jackson Heights.
I was never a yogurt enthusiast but now I am. It's become my (almost) daily lunch at work. Their yogurt-- which they produce on the premises--is creamy, filling and leaves a delicious aftertaste. I prefer it with honey and nuts but they have all these different toppings and you even see them preparing it in house--no industrial "techniques" there.
Aside from the "thick" variety, they have a lowfat one.
I tried them both, they are excellent, but, to tell you the truth, you know what great yogurt is only after tasting the thick variety.
