Yen Ching Chinese Restaurant – St. Louis, Missouri – GREAT FOOD!

If your looking for good honest reviews of Yen Ching, do not take my word for it, READ what others have to say on and on

Yen Ching is my pick for Chinese, if I am in St. Louis. In fact, we had some July 7th, while Elena was on her layover from Florida and we were waiting to go to the airport on our way to Hawaii. It was superb as ALWAYS! Our favorites are Imperial Chicken and Yen Ching Chicken. Just watch out for the peppers. Both dishes are not too spicy for even our children to eat. Yes, they are probably more than one dollar sign as describes them but their food is worth it! I would say they are nearly as much as P.F. Changs but worth every bit. If you want inexpensive and good take out, go to Bamboo Inn down on Delmar, my friend's parents used to own it and you would get a ton of food for your dollar.

Should you dine in or take out? We prefer to dine in when possible. The atmosphere at Yen Ching not special but it is dim, dark and windowless providing a nice intimate dining experience. It is a place I took Elena since I have known her and we found it to be very intimate. We even have taken the family there on occasion. The serving staff are extraordinarily attentive, just try and empty your water glass! In fact, they often are lying in wait so they are able to secretly view your table and then quickly move into service when needed.

If you want something unique in the order of Chinese food, give it a try - tell them Kirk Florida sent you, and give them my best!
