I bought some yellowtail from CM in Austin for what seemed like a bargain - $12 per pound. I thawed it in cold water, then coated with salt and wasabi powder, then grilled two min per side. It had a fishy taste and poor texture compared to what I get in a sushi restaurant.
Any other places in Austin to get good sushi grade fish? I'd never gotten it from CM before, but usually their fish is fresh.
